New to diving but guys i go out with have these and bidding on one on trade me what do you guys think its worth?

Sounds like a dog.
Add to that you will have to try and find a replacement weight pocket.... and the new US$ price is less than the current bid..... you would be better off saving your$$ and getting a BPW.

I got one a few years back for about $400aud.
Plates are about $100. Harness & fittings about the same.
The wings tend to cost a bit more.

What sort of BCD can you get new for $600?

As Greg said, you could get a quality product like this:

for not much more than a 2nd hand product with missing pockets and the risk that iof anything fails you cannot get parts. Feel free to give us a call at the Dive Doctor for advice.
