Pretty cool hey!
I wasn't surprised it was such a large amount because I have read previsouly that the 'next big thing' (like most things are in the media these days) is compressed air powered cars!

So instead of electric cars with batteries to charge, you have air cylinders to get filled. Appartenly compressed air cars are more efficient, becuase there is less loss between the tank, and wheels, than there is between batter - circuits - motor - wheels
