You've completely lost me!
What tape are you talking about!?

I see a tank with a weird valve, but no tape.

What I really want to know is whether that pic in the background is Lemmy and the boys? Hawkwind days or later?

Seynz,
Did you mean what kind of tank?
I'm not sure the tank is the weird thing - it's the valve on top.

If you did mean that - Good question? what type of valve is that !!??

The 2nd valve controls a reserve capacity much like a J valve.

I believe its called a I valve 'cause H,J, K, Y and P are taken. I really wouldnt want to breath off a P valve.

Sorry for the mistake...
I meant valve; So it s what I thought a reserve mechanism for the old age when people where not using a pressure gauge.
I knew another system with a rod along the tank you have to pull to deliver the last 50 Bars.
Thanks :)

My own personal tank is a J-valve. I took the rod off and just leave the lever down, if anything I always reach back to feel that it is still down. I kinda liked diving with the latest gear on at the time - got some jealous looks and remarks. But although my then new gear is now dated, I still get just as much a kick outta using some really old stuff too! If I could do a few dives with a Hard hat or even an old Porpoise setup - I would.
Just drifting along with whatever is current.
