Yes, they are spectator friendly.
This comp will follow a format a little new to NZ with two lanes running for Dyanamics. This means each pool session can be shorter and there is twice as much happening at any given time (rather than one athlete every 10 minutes).
In addition to the "Competition Grade" there will also be a "Recreational Grade" with slightly relaxed rules round things like surface breaks, surface protocol etc. This Rec. Grade will have no entry fee - thanks to the sponsorship from Ocean Hunter. This makes it an ideal event to have a play at if you ever thought about entering a comp for the first time etc.
We will also be running a depth comp in Lake Pupuke the first weekend of December (just need to get Council approval to use the lake - this is with their booking people now). This will also have a Rec Grade (with a maximum depth limit) and a Competition Grade where the limit is the depth of the lake (50m - if you go to 55m you end up in the mud).
