Vanuatu diving

Postby alijtaylor » Wed Aug 25, 2010 10:37 pm

I got out with Chelsea's dive operation from Port Vila on Monday, a couple of good dives with an excellent dive master (who managed to give me an extra weight on the safety stop, me having underestimated what a 3mm wetsuit does to your bouyancy). It was good to see Chels effectively running the show.

The first dive was on an Island Trader which sits on the sand at 40m.

The second site, called Aliminium pigeon, has a plane wreck with a surprise inside.

Great shots Alison, was a pleasure to have you come diving!!! Us Kiwis outnumbered the Ozzies on the boat that morning for a change!

Oh and yes i've turned into a wimp, i wear my sharkskin vest with hood, gloves a 3ml wettie...because i now get cold in 25 degree water   i've gotten soft being over here, gone are the 70 minute dives in 10 degrees i was doing before i left Wellington...NOT that i'm complaining at all!
To infinity and beyond!!!
