Poor Knights back on form!

Postby AndrewRawlingson » Sun Mar 30, 2014 5:18 pm

I moved to the Northland last December, primarily for the diving and fishing, so have been getting out quite regularly.

I've been a little remiss with trip reports, but you already know about the Poor Knights, kelp/rocks/fish!

I dived the Knights just after Lusi and the visibility was horrendous. We are enjoying some very settled weather this week and managed to get to Tie-Dye Arch for the first time today. It was stunning , lots of kingfish and stingrays, and great visibility.

Second dive was at Magic Wall. Visibility was phenomenal. I won't put a number on it, but it's the best I've ever seen at the Knights.

Get out there while it lasts!

It was no accident that I ended up here, but still not doing quite as much diving as I would like for one reason or another!
