I know it's not exactly a Kiwi tradition, but hope everyone has a particularly spooky evening filled with lots of bootiful candy.

Nope not a tradition for me.

I guess doing whatever increases the retail through the quiet period before christmas is the important thing even if it does mean importing culture that means nothing to us.

It's Day of the Dead (dia de los muertes) in our part of the world. Much cooler than Halloween I reckon.
