Rena - a recreational diving wreck?

Most divers love 'em! Which ones, where, how deep?

Rena - a recreational diving wreck?

Don"t know about others but I for one am in favour of having the Rena as a recreational dive destination.
I have been asked is the wreck safe to dive, the answer is no wreck is a guaranteed safe dive.

You cannot guarantee that any dive is 100% safe. Diving is a sport where one makes a decisions each time they dive about the risk involved. Wreck diving simply poses additional hazards to be managed. The best way to manage these is to get the right gear, right training/experience and always be aware of your surroundings.

I cant think of anything more relaxing, than being in the downunder, breathing some nice clean fresh filtered 21% nitrox.

Voted in the affirmative, although it would be good if the question wasn't constructed in such a loaded manner.
