Great eclipse today.
with the aid of a welding mask it was fascinating to watch.

I cant think of anything more relaxing, than being in the downunder, breathing some nice clean fresh filtered 21% nitrox.

Yeah it was very cool.

I stacked 4 pairs of very dark shades and watched through that (for brief periods) 8)

Didn't realise we were going to be able to watch it in NZ. Was getting ready to leave the house, looked outside and it was quite dark so I thought it was about to rain...

Just six weeks ago I was living in Port Douglas, ground zero for the eclipse. I had to settle for Mt Eden as my vantage point, and although it wasn't total, I did enjoy the event.
