Nice, looks like a biggie.
All of my dives in the last couple of weeks, at the Aldermen Islands and Poor Knights Islands, have shown indications that a full-blown plankton bloom is pending. Len's Reef at the Aldermen Islands had a thick soup of chain salps on top. I observed some Demoiselles nesting. Water getting a distinct green tinge on. Wicked! Bring on the macro photography and fish breeding frenzy. The plankton bloom is such an adventure.
