OMS facing o-ring manifold that I bought second hand for $450 off my advanced nitrox instructor...then it got destroyed by a dive shop service tec so I flogged it off a slab of beer. My "Flash as Michael Jackson" Sea Elite manifold only cost me $360...*groan*

I'm surprised JonoP hasn't posted on here yet. His got a garage full of drysuits that don't get used any more!

Er guys, this is going a tad OFF TOPIC!

I was gonna say, I once bought some TOTALLY useless dry gloves - I couldn't put them on myself!

Ah DD - you've just reminded me; my 7mm neoprene gloves! A great item, sold to me by a local dive store in London. They told me that they'd keep my hands warm. And they did! The only minor, niggly naggly problem was that they were so thick that I couldn't bend my fingers properly, and when they did manage to bend I couldn't actually feel anything, so anything I used them for had to be within line of sight. Totally useless (but nice and warm!)

Oh, and yes, as above, those stupid fluro yellow plastic spirals to tie around the octi hose. Utterly pointless.

They do have a point...they trap salt so your gear wears out faster

I have been conducting some tedious searching, and after a lot of hard work, I have determined that Honey Ryder was in fact a stroke and that bond girls should wear their knives on the left.

Oh yeah, pretty much the only equipment I have bought that was useless were dive knives.

(Back on topic DD) :D
