Sheesh waddya know I'm in Auckland for one night and some lovely chaps break a window in the ute and relieve me of some gear...

So if you hear of or get offered any of this..

1 x 3l faber steel O2 tank (serial number will be posted when I know it)
2 x RG3100 dive rite 1st stages.
Teledyne R22D O2 cells

got other stuff swiped as well but that's the dive kit.,

You are kidding me?!

Which window did they smash? When I parked behind your truck this morning there was no obvious broken glass on the road or on the verge.

Do you need tanks for using this weekend? I've got a couple of 40s that could get filled?

No worries. You should definitely stay with us on Sunday.... it's not that it's any nicer part of the town, but the job would at least be done properly. None of the this broken window malarky, the whole ute would have gone - which at least means that you get a new ute!

It is outrageous that your dive gear was stolen outside my house. I am very upset. I thought Epsom was a reputable suburb. I heard Cameron get up during the night, and he has been known to look longingly at your gear...

Bruce from Crayzee Diver was telling me that his son had dive gear nicked from his car in the last couple of months, parked in Orakei I think. He lost a BP/W.

Thieves are stinkers!

i'll chuck a note in the service bay at the dive shop and let the guys know.
if you can tell us the serial numbers or any identifying marks/colours on the tanks or regs - we will watch out for them

Sorry to hear Binks. Get a lot of that over here too. Sydney metro is a bother while underwater and my spot at ShellHarbour (Bass Point) has Trail-Bikers zipping in for a quick visit to see which car is worth a smash n' grab.
I have a big toybox in the back of my van which I padlock and I tell my buddies to put 'all their gear' - clothes, shoes, etc in it because the less seen the better in regards to them feeling enticed to have a further look. Ebay has lifted the Thieving game by giving them motivation to steal and sell. Don't even leave 20cents on the dash as an excuse for a junkie to score.

...you can always set some bait again while hiding in the bushes with a crobar you know

Ok updated list of kit now that I've had a chance to find out what's missing..

1 x 3l faber steel O2 tank unfortunately the other tanks I have are not sequential so I don't know the serial number..
2 x RG3100 dive rite 1st stages.
3 x Teledyne R22D O2 cells (Scarcer than hens teeth now)
1 x Nitek Duo (If you get offered one stupidly cheap I can let you know the list of dives that will be logged on it as ID. PM me if you do)
Assorted Omniswivel hardware, 3x LP swivels & 1 x QD LP 6" whip.
