Do you use your tongue when you KISS?

Postby ChuckyBob » Thu Mar 18, 2010 3:13 pm

Just came across this article ( again) and thought it may be of interest to some.

Basically its a DSV for a rebreather that allows you to add O2 or dil using your tongue.
It was developed by Jetsteam the makers of the KISS rebreather but never put into full production.

I read about that a while back and it seems an awesome piece of engineering and a very good concept. You might look like you were trying to look nonchalant whenever you used it though.. :D

From what I gather it injects the gas directly into the mouth piece. So you dont want to be inhaling while you are injecting O2 at any great depth!!

It looks like its based on a standard KISS BOV (which I now own yahoo!!) but the 2nd stage has been removed and replaced with the SNOG.

One just sold on RBW for 400 quid.
