Adrenalin Charters Tutukaka

Postby P38 » Wed Mar 11, 2009 10:41 pm

Has any one dived with Adrenalin Charters out of Tutukaka?

http://www.adrenalincharters.co.nz/

I have been asked to join a trip to the Poor Knights with these guys but know very little about them other than this boat used to operate out of Napier a few years ago.

Any comments good or bad would be appreciated.

Cheers

do you know who they are?

You need not worry, every skipper that is on the vessels is also an Instructor Certifier, you cannot get a higher rating, so you are in good hands. We have your safety and enjoyment at the top of our list when taking you out to the Poor Knights

I've never heard anything bad about Adrenalin Charters, but the flipside is that I've never heard anything good about them either. Seen them out at the islands a few times - the 25 minute journey time would have an appeal, for sure. Makes a three dive day quite feasible.

Live life on the edge, and go for it..... and tell us what it was like after!

Thanks for your replies

This trip includes transport from Napier to Tutukaka and return, Accomidation for three nights, air fills and Two, Three Dive Days with Adrenalin Charters.

Total costs $480 .... which sounds pretty sweet to me.

Actually it's costing me nothing as my wife has shouted this trip for my birthday :D :D :D
Shes a keeper for sure.

I've dived the Poor Knights only once before and that was with Pacific Hideaway who looked after us really well.

But dont know too much about this Charter operator.

Guess I'll let you know when I return.

They're SSI, I think.... and my guess is that they only have one skipper! Easy for all skippers to be <insert qualification> when there is only one!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. To be fair though, I have absolutely no knowledge of their staffing at all, so will be interested to hear feedback on their operation.

Yeah, I wasn't intending to imply anything negative.... it's actually something that I'd probably write as well!

So did you use Adrenalin in the end? How were they? We are planning to charter a boat through them in Jan 2011 so I'm looking for any feedback if possible...

Thanks
