On the road from Rotavegas there is a gas station. A few hundred meters past that is a small car park with a rocky outcrop. You can go in there. The "wreck" is off to the right hand side.

I've dived Kai Iwi, Lake Tomarata, and Okaitana, Lake Okaitana has a sunken Pa site in it, really cool.

Might be worth mentioning that I read somewhere, after Cameron and I had dived Lake Okataina, that you're supposed to seek permission (from DOC?) to dive the lake (because of the pa site). We didn't realise at the time, there's no signage at the lake boat ramp to say anything about needing permission. Problem is, I've forgotten where I read it.

Random thought, but are you going to leave your fins at Global after you are done? Will probably do a try for size on Sunday if that's ok.
