Taupo

Hi Guys

Heading to Napier with the club tmrw and was going to dive the waikato on the way back, but given its 230 cumecs at the moment - I think not.

Anyway, Andy gave me a couple of spots at the Lake to try previously but wondering if there's been any developments on other dive spots?

Thanks

Shane

Just do it!!

I recall last time we did it and we thought the flow rate was high. Turned out it was a slow trip down. Worst comes to worst simply inflate BC and float down on the surface. Its a nice ride.

We did in the end, 220 cumecs, and wasn't bad at all.

Just meant that the eddies were harder work to break out of and made it a bit of a work out.

11deg water and my crotch seam split on my drysuit.....brrrrrr
